Octave Chanute to Wilbur Wright

Buffalo, July 19, 1901

I have been doing the Pan American Exposition, and I have your note of July 9th. I am glad to learn that you are getting such a good start.

Mr. Huffaker must now be with you. Please tell him that I have his letters.

Mr. Spratt writes that he will be through his farm work next week, and be very glad to see our experiments. I write to him this day. I hope to join you about August 1st, leaving Norfolk Wednesday, July 31, but do not wish you to meet me at Nags Head, as I can get a conveyance from there to your camp.

I go back to Chicago tomorrow, and can be reached there.
