Wilbur Wright to Octave Chanute

Dayton, January 3, 1910

Your letter of the 23rd December was received, and we were all glad to know that you were well. We, that is Orville and I, are expecting to be present at the dinner in your honor at Boston on the 12th where naturally we will have the pleasure of meeting you.

At present we are very busy trying to get a factory in running condition for making the motors and wings for flyers in time for the opening of the flying season. After the trip to Boston one of us will probably go South to establish an experimenting & training camp.

With best wishes, [&c.]
