I herewith enclose a translation of a letter received yesterday from Capt. Ferber1 with a photo, which latter please return. I also enclose clippings which you may find interesting.2
Archdeacon seems to me to be desultory, as far as he has got, and if you make out the French I shall be glad to have your criticisms. I have no notion what the German article says, save that your name is repeated a number of times.
I go to Washington for a few days tomorrow.
