Wilbur Wright to Octave Chanute

Dayton, September 16, 1901

Your letters rec'd. We thank you for the Lilienthal article. Will examine it carefully as soon as we have time.

Your calculations based on the table of lifts and drifts we sent you read with interest. Will discuss it with you when I come up.

I expect to reach Chicago Wednesday morning at 7:30 A.M. over the Pennsylvania line. It will not be necessary for you to meet me at so early an hour. I will get breakfast downtown, and come up to your home later.
