Yours of 8th inst. rec'd. I have forwarded negatives to you by express. If it can be done conveniently I think it would be an improvement to reproduce only the parts shown on the prints already sent you. I suggest that your photographs 2, 4, & 5 could likewise be thus improved.
I send you paper negatives of two diagrams, one showing the Lilienthal curve and our curve both before and after trussing, and the other showing the peculiar action of our top surface when flying as a kite, which I attribute to a backward movement of the center of pressure. If the artists have trouble getting slides from these let me know and I will try to make other arrangements in regard to them.
I also enclose a print of our last year's machine which I would like to show also. If you can furnish the artists copy of the Lilienthal, Pilcher and both your multiple-wing and double-deck machines, I should like to use them too.
