Octave Chanute to Wilbur Wright

Elizabeth City, August 13, 1901

I have ordered from Fulmer your bill of groceries, to which I have added three cans of hash, to fill up the chinks. Also a lantern which you will find useful in getting about.

I am glad to note that you are having good weather today, and I wish you the best of luck.

[P.S.] The grocery bill is to be enclosed with the goods, it comes to $5.39.
